This is a different than the Enoch that is descended from Seth - the 7th from Adam - THIS is the Enoch that walked with God - however it doesn't say anything about this Enoch writing a book - people will point to Enoch prophesying in Jude, but it doesn't say anything about what was actually written by Enoch - prophets speak and it's written down? yes (Elijah, Elisha, and Micaiah for examples) - it is however different than the prophet writing an actual prophecy and it's inclusion into the cannon of the holy scriptures.
Thinking the book of enoch is on par with biblical doctrines and theology is as bad as considering the apocrypha or the catechism has any significance - beyond the actions of unsaved and deceitful men trying to de-rail and distract from the truth, all texts, Bibles included, should be scrutinized and compared.»
