A float with pyrotechnics, which was participating in the Day of the Dead parade , exploded and left eight people injured in the municipality of Mazatepec, southwest of Morelos. A video captured the explosion and the screams of fear from the residents who were witnessing the passage of the vehicles decorated for the Day of the Dead. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on 5 de Febrero Street in the Justo Sierra neighborhood, where a tractor was pulling a platform decorated with motifs alluding to the celebration. According to witnesses, a spark ignited the rockets that were part of the decoration, causing a loud explosion.
