«It is impossible to fathom the stupidity of these "people." They think they can smile in court and mock their victims just because the jury is not in the room. What they don't know is the judge gets to decide if they are well and truly fucked.

In Montana, the sentence for aggravated murder can be death, life imprisonment without parole, life with the possibility of parole after 30 years, or a prison term of 10 to 100 years. The jury only gets to decide whether this bitch is guilty and whether or not she will get the death penalty. Everything else is up to the judge. The judge also decides whether multiple sentences run concurrently or consecutively. For example, assume this bitch is convicted on ten counts with a sentence of fifteen years each, the judge gets to decide whether the sentences will be served consecutively or concurrently. If the sentences run concurrently, the bitch would theoretically be eligible for parole in about 12 years. If the sentences run consecutively, the bitch is guaranteed to die in prison.»
