A professional angler from Georgia is charged with manslaughter in the deaths of three men killed in a boat crash during a fishing tournament on Smith Lake earlier this year.
A Cullman County grand jury indicted Flint Davis, 22, in the deaths of Joe M. Broom, 58, of Altoona, John “Kelly” Clark, 44, of Cullman, and Jeffrey C. Little, 62, of Mississippi, according to court records made public Friday.
The indictment states that Davis was traveling 67 miles per hour when the collision happened and that he did “recklessly engage in conduct that which manifested extreme indifference to the value of human life and created a grave risk death.”

«I predict that Davis will break down in court, with his sleazy lawyer begging for leniency “for a young man with his whole life in front of him”»

«This is how all professional fishermen conduct themselves during a fishing competition. They are a nuisance and take the fun out of it.»
