STORY: “Back in April, we decided to go python hunting without really knowing what we were doing. The first snake we came across got my adrenaline going, and I grabbed it thinking it was a python. Turns out, it was a venomous cottonmouth. I was bitten on both hands and ended up spending four days in the ICU, followed by a 3-week recovery period. 70 vials of antivenom later, I made a full recovery. The snake was properly identified and released unharmed.”

«@Phagbeeter I was bit by a baby cottonmouth while clearing my yard 22 weeks ago. I have been to the ER 7 times with 8 other appointments with specialists during that time. My foot is still swollen and have 2 more appointments this week to see if they can "fix" me since I am still in pain most days.

Cant imagine being dumb enough to invite that horror into your own life.»
