Chaos caught on video as huge waves smash into Hong Kong hotel, flooding the lobby. In Taiwan, the death toll rises to 15; 124 still missing after dam burst causes flooding. 2 million evacuated from Guangdong, China; schools, businesses, transport shut; winds up to 241 km/h recorded. In Macau, streets turn into rivers; flights, classes canceled; rescues are underway with inflatable boats. At least 10 dead in the Philippines, mostly fishermen; 5 still missing.

«Ahh floods. When I was about 10 there was a hurricane. All around where I lived was under 2 foot of water. I got my rubber dingy out and went around my block in it, waving and laughing with the locals. I delivered to the locals on my weekly paid job. He took photos of me in my boat. The next edition of the weekly paper had me at the top of the front page. Headline "local paper delivery boy bravely fought through the hurricane to deliver his newspapers..." a moment of realisation about the msm.»
