Houston police say two suspects followed a poker winner from Westheimer to a Galleria-area hotel, where he was robbed in the lobby.

The suspects forced him to the ground with an unknown object, took his personal belongings, and then ran out to a white four-door sedan. They got into the vehicle through the right passenger doors before speeding away.

Police noted the victim had just arrived at the hotel after winning a large sum of money during a poker game at a private social club on Westheimer Road near Potomac Drive.

Detectives believe the suspects may have followed and targeted him.
