The 42-year-old woman was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.
It all happened the day before in the courtyard of a house on 9 Maya Street. The accident was caught on surveillance cameras. The driver knocked down a woman right next to the entrance, and then crashed into a tree, damaging a car parked nearby.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported that a 62-year-old man was driving, lost control, drove off the road and caused an accident. A breathalyzer test showed that he was drunk - he blew 1.3 mg/l, which is 8 times higher than the maximum permissible value.
