LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. – A 42-year-old man from Ypsilanti was arrested after a police chase in a stolen car through Livingston County.
It started at about 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 12, on US-23, outside Fenton. According to authorities, police spotted a stolen vehicle traveling in the southbound lanes and began to chase it.
The vehicle exited at Highland Road/M-59 and began driving west toward Howell, evading spike strips at Argentine Road, where it reportedly side-swiped another vehicle, causing damage.
The driver reportedly started heading south on Hughes Road, where it ignored a traffic signal at Golf Club Road and crashed into a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado.
