He is not. Water is a powerful agent of nature, it loves eating dummies

«I'm no Michael Phelps, but I think I could make make some headway to get to that barrier.... With my life hanging in the balance....

In Hawaii about 12 years ago. The resort we were staying at had a good amount of shoreline but only a smallish 50 yard area where there was decent, sandy beach. No lifeguard. Old guy down at the beach goes out in chest deep water and pretty soon he's in a rip current and headed out to sea. He was too spent to fight the current and was on his way to Davy Jones's locker when a guy swam out to him and pulled him back. I helped the rescuer bring the old guy to shore from waist deep water. He could barely walk he was so spent. They told us later that three days before we got there same thing happened on the same little section of beach and that one resulted in a drowning.

«@Queen Trump i grew up on the Gulf Coast and on boats. Also spent a lot of time on Lake Superior, the Bad River, Chippewa River flowage, water still scares the fuck out of me lol i float pretty good but im fine sitting my ass on the sand or a boat cushion»

I'm not scared of being in the water, but I'm quite aware of my lack of swimming prowess and won't put myself in a position that I can't get out of easily. I chose not to go out after the old guy in Hawaii because then there'd have been 2 people that needed rescuing.... But with that said, I'm much more confident in salt water as opposed to fresh. The buoyancy that salt water provides is comforting. So then I'm just left to worry about the sharks....

«@Queen Trump haha. If you saw the shit swimming a handful of yards from the beach you'd never go in. I used to camp out at the Port Mansfield cut on S padre. Fish from the beach, kayak out to drop baits. More than once had LARGE things bump me or splash real close at night lol»

«“Another Dummy thinks hes a strong swimmer”
According to witnesses, the only thing strong about him was his odor.
