Israeli hackers named "Predatory Sparrow" was involved in attacking Iran's financial institutions and largest crypto exchange.

Hackers have claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on Iran’s banking systems. The group collaborated with insiders to target the IRGC linked Sepah Bank, which helps fund Iran’s proxies, ballistic missiles, and nuclear activities.

Hackers also wiped out 95% of assets on Iran’s Nobitex crypto exchange.

Nobitex was reportedly used by Tehran to evade sanctions through crypto. Wallet balances plunged from $1.8 billion to just $100 million.
