More than 110 people died in the crash of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in India, TimesNow reports
According to local media, the former chief minister of the Indian state of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani, was on board the crashed passenger airliner.
According to preliminary information, there were no Russians on board.
There were 169 Indian citizens, 53 British citizens and 7 Portuguese citizens on board. And the crew: 2 pilots and 10 flight attendants.
This is the first fatal accident of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The plane was put into operation in 2013, when it made its first flight. The plane is 11.5 years old.
