According to the owner's reports, the accident began on the highway, when a truck driven by a driver from Rio Grande do Sul was hit by another truck from a company with a branch in Vilhena. The second truck lost control and ended up crashing into the building.
The restaurant, which is a traditional stopping point for truck drivers, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the time of the collision, there were no customers in the restaurant, which prevented a tragedy.
The businesswoman reports that, although she did not suffer any injuries, she was quite frightened. She has not yet been able to calculate the damage, but says that the material damage was “quite significant”.
