On the afternoon of Friday, May 23, a shootout occurred, leaving one alleged criminal dead and another wounded after being shot at by a citizen who noticed their presence and suspicious behavior.

The shooting occurred on 106th Street and 50th Avenue , in the Villa Santos neighborhood , Riomar , Barranquilla, in the area that connects the Boulevar shopping center and Makro Villa Santos .
