While she's technically not required to enforce an administrative warrant, which is the type of warrant Ruiz had against him for his immigration issues, her actions in this matter are not above board. As a jurist, she should be working with our law enforcement agencies, not against them. She obviously didn't like the agents arresting Mr. Ruiz outside of her courtroom. It used to be that agents didn't go to court or church or schools to arrest people, but those days are over. Guidelines like that don't make much sense to me. If someone is in violation of the law, they should be arrested wherever they're encountered.

Had an acquaintance that used to bitch vehemently about cops waiting down the road from a bar at bartime, to arrest any drunks. Seems he thought this was dirty pool.
