The footage shows a middle-aged woman with bags crossing a multi-lane road in an unauthorized area, close to an overhead pedestrian crossing visible in the background.
Seeing an approaching car, the woman did not stop or attempt to let it pass; instead, she suddenly ran forward. The driver slammed on the brakes (evidenced by thick white smoke from the disc brakes) and tried to swerve right but couldn’t avoid the collision. The woman died at the scene from her injuries.
