In 2013 eighteen year old Isabella Guzman had a particularly nasty argument with her mother. The next morning the mother received an ominous message saying 'You will pay'. That night as her mother stepped out of the shower Isabella entered the bathroom and slashed her mothers throat and stabbed her 79 times as she died.
She was found not guilty by reason of insanity and has been in the care of the Colorado Mental Health Institute. She has recently been granted supervised release.
