When I say they are more intelligent than that I do so because Trump did nothing to stop what could have been a potential coup - Capitol Hill attack.
And since Italians experienced the same situation in 1922 (fascists' march on Rome), which led to over 20 years of dictatorship, of course they can't trust somebody like Mr. Trump.

And about WW2 history.

Actually, Italians were fighting Mussolini's regime long before WW2 even started.
They were fighting him even when the USA and the UK were having commercial deals with Italy's fascist government.
Which led Italy into some wars (Etiopia, Spain, WW2).
And even then Italians were fighting Mussolini.
Then they had July 25th and September the 8th, 1943: the Italian King deposed Mussolini and Badoglio's new technical government declared war on Germany.
From this point on, Italian army, navy and air force begun fighting together with the Allies and with Italian partisans (communists, socialists, monarchists, catholics, anarchists, etc).
That's why I say they are more intelligent than that.
They have already lived all this and like to stay away from people like Mr. Trump (or Mr. Putin, or Mr. Zelensky, or Mr. Xi Jin Pin).

They generally dislike the idea of a strong man in command, as the sources I posted reveal.
Sounds like fascism to them.»
