A misfortune happened to a hard worker in Verkhnyaya Salda, Sverdlovsk Region. It all happened in the workshop of the VSMPO-AVISMA plant (aviation engineering). The worker completely forgot about attentiveness and walked around the workshop, as if along a boulevard. This led to the fact that the poor fellow got under the wheels of a loader.

The victim survived, but his leg had to be amputated.

«Well... one could argue they are both at fault. No high vis by the pedestrian, no failure to make sure the way was clear even though his peripheral vision must be near non-existent, no clearly marked foot paths.
The forklift driver should always be wary of pedestrian traffic especially in common areas, no headlights, warning beacon flashing on top of the cab.
Hopefully this pedestrian has a good lawyer like Jackie Childs. lol»
