4/19/26 – In Starr Co., a Trooper stopped a Chevy pickup for a traffic violation. During the stop, it was discovered the driver was smuggling five illegal immigrants. The driver was arrested and charged federally by the U.S. Border Patrol. The five illegal immigrants were taken into Border Patrol custody. In the video, several of the illegal immigrants are seen wearing colored wristbands—commonly used by cartels to indicate payment and coordination for illegal crossings. Mother of three accused of running a prost*tution ring out of her home in Godley, Texas, catering to police officers. Ashley and Michael Ketcherside are accused of hosting Godley Police Department members and their spouses at their home. Ashley is accused of not only coaching women on how to sell themselves, but also being a prost*tute herself, allegedly charging $1,000 an hour. Former Godley police officer Solomon Omotoya and former Godley Police Chief Matthew Cantrell are facing charges in connection with the ring. "The Godley Police Department, under Chief Matthew Cantrell, conspired with the Ketchersides to compile information on local public officials and private citizens they perceived as adversaries," the DA said. "The officials known so far include members of the Godley City Council, Godley Independent School Board, the former mayor of Godley, and former Chief of Police of The City of Godley." Ashley was ousted from a Godley ISD committee back in 2023 that directed the district’s s*x ed curriculum when her prior prost*tution convictions were discovered, according to the New York Post. Ashley was charged with racketeering. She is being held on a $200,000 bond. Her husband, Michael, was charged with continuous promotion, solicitation of prost*tution, and racketeering. A former Pennsylvania mayor wanted on multiple felony warrants involving sex crimes against children was arrested Wednesday in Anderson County, in East Texas. Chad Allen Carr, 48, the former mayor of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody by Anderson County sheriff’s deputies in Palestine. Carr was wanted by Pennsylvania authorities on two counts of second-degree felony sexual assault, one count of second-degree felony involving sexual depictions of a child on a computer, and two counts of misdemeanor corruption of minors. The arrest was a coordinated effort between the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania State Police. According to Adams County Sheriff Joshua Fitting, his Warrant Apprehension Unit determined Carr had left Gettysburg and was found in East Texas shortly after a warrant was issued. Anderson County Chief Deputy Russell and Captain Pearson, assisted by local deputies and Constable David Franklin, located Carr and took him into custody without delay. "This case highlights the critical role our Warrant Apprehension Unit plays in keeping our community safe," Fitting said in a statement. "These deputies work tirelessly to track down individuals who attempt to evade the justice system." Carr was booked into the Anderson County Jail. Pennsylvania authorities have confirmed they intend to extradite Carr to face the charges. Bexar County - In this footage, a rider is seen sliding behind his motorcycle after it hits a curb at the intersection of Oakwood and Wooden Fox. The bike then explodes into flames, and the rider is thrown into the fire. Children who were watching nearby run for safety as chaos erupts around them. Shortly after, the rider — still on fire — runs toward a nearby park and rolls in the grass. The rider, Josh, reached out to us and said his burns were serious enough to require surgery, but he expects to be okay. He said he was going too fast and leaned the bike the wrong way before falling off. We asked what he thought about the children near the crash. He didn’t answer that question but said they were supportive of him when he was putting out the fire with a hose from a neighbor. Robert Perez captured the entire incident on his home security camera Thursday afternoon around 4:30. He says the children seen running from the fire were okay, but he’s concerned something like this could happen again. He says drivers often speed through this stretch of Wooden Fox. At the intersection where the motorcyclist crashed, a playground sits right next to the road, with a 20-mile-per-hour speed limit sign nearby. “It makes it really hard for kids to cross the street, especially from the other side. It’s a blind curve, so people come speeding around not knowing what’s on the other side,” said Robert Perez. A little farther north on Wooden Fox, at the intersection of Wooden Fox and Rainbow Creek, Perez says speeding drivers have also damaged signs in the area. “I’ve seen these poles put up several times, and lately they just haven’t come back to put up new ones. I think they gave up,” said Robert Perez. Every neighbor we spoke with expressed concerns about speeding drivers. We reached out to the sheriff’s office to see how many accidents have happened along this road.
