In the video (watch in the player above), a large cargo ship is seen traveling slowly by in the background, while in the foreground, beachgoers are seen enjoying a sunny day on the Bay. Then, a speeding windsurfer suddenly bursts into the frame from the right. As the wetsuit-clad man on the windsurf board moves into the center of the frame, a gray whale breaches the surface directly in his path. With no time to react, the man on the board collides with the surfacing whale and goes flying off his board. The whale, which doesn’t appear too troubled by the incident, disappears into the deep, leaving the windsurfer looking dazed, but appearing unharmed, and floating in the water with his board.

San Francisco judge Linda Colfax has released a man who fatally assaulted an 84y old

NEW: San Francisco judge Linda Colfax has released a man who fatally assaulted an 84-year-old because the prison sentence would have a "poor impact" on him. 25-year-old Antoine Watson was granted probation just two months after he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and assault. Watson violently assaulted Vicha Ratanapakdee in 2021, which resulted in his death just two days later. He was acquitted of first-and second-degree murder charges and instead convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Colfax says Watson being in prison would have a "poor impact" on him and didn't think he should be there because he "expressed remorse," according to the SF Chronicle. Colfax is accused of hiding details from the jury in an apparent effort to help Watson escape prison time. Infuriating and evil.

San Francisco Mayor Lurie’s security team attacked in Tenderloin, officer left bleeding

Mayor Daniel Lurie’s police security detail was attacked at the edge of the Tenderloin on Thursday evening just before 6 p.m., according to witnesses and a video obtained by Mission Local. The mayor was unharmed. One unidentified San Francisco police officer, who was part of Lurie’s security team and was in the black SUV used to ferry Lurie around alongside the mayor and his driver, was left bleeding from the back of his head. He panted as he spoke to Mission Local and gave a statement to fellow police officers who responded to the scene. The officer said that three people blocked the car shortly prior to the attack, and that Lurie “hopped out” to ask them to move. They began to “comply,” the officer told his fellow cops, but, at some point, one man began “talking gibberish.” The officer then intervened and asked the man to move out of the way. The man did at first, but then came at him, he told officers. The officer held onto the man’s upper body and then “fell back” with the man on top of him, and hit his head on the pavement as he fell.

Self-Inflicted FAFO
