MERCED, Calif. — A 15-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed during a fight Sunday night at the Merced County Fair. Deputies with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, who were working at the fairgrounds, responded to the carnival area for a physical altercation. When they arrived, they found a teen suffering from several stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he remained in critical condition. Investigators identified three suspects as 26-year-old Nathaniel Yanez and two juveniles.
