Two troopers narrowly avoided injury when lightning struck right next to them south of Rapid City, South Dakota, during a manhunt. The South Dakota Highway Patrol shared on social media and said the incident happened as the troopers were working the manhunt when the storm arrived. In the video, the two troopers, whose names have not been released, can be seen standing near their patrol vehicles and can be heard seemingly discussing the description of what a person was wearing.
