MERCED, Calif. — A 15-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed during a fight Sunday night at the Merced County Fair. Deputies with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, who were working at the fairgrounds, responded to the carnival area for a physical altercation. When they arrived, they found a teen suffering from several stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he remained in critical condition. Investigators identified three suspects as 26-year-old Nathaniel Yanez and two juveniles. Last week, officers responded to a stabbing near Foothill Boulevard and Grove Avenue. Officers checking the area located the female suspect, who refused to cooperate. The female then presented a knife as officers continued to give commands. Officers were able to taser the female and safely take her into custody without any injuries. Turns out, this female has a prior for attempted murder for stabbing someone. She was booked on attempted murder and resisting arrest. Dozens of drivers were left without their vehicles after LAPD officers impounded 72 cars and issued trespassing citations during a large car meetup inside the Los Angeles River near Cypress Park. Police say the Street Racing Task Force responded to the gathering Sunday evening and found more than 100 vehicles inside the river channel. Authorities have not described the event as a street race or takeover, but said participants were trespassing. A police officer and a suspect were shot after a pursuit of a reported stolen vehicle ended in gunfire in Boyle Heights Tuesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Both the suspect and officer were transported to the hospital in unknown condition. The suspect took off running after the pickup truck crashed following a chase, and that’s when officers reportedly opened fire, hitting and injuring the suspect. Sky5’s Gil Leyvas was over the termination of the chase at 1173 S Marietta St. at approximately 2:15 p.m., where the man could be seen lying on the ground, moving, before officers moved in and took the man into custody. The suspect was loaded into an ambulance and was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. A gun was found nearby at the scene. The LAPD confirmed that an officer was struck in the gunfire and taken to a local hospital. There’s no word on his condition, but he was seen walking around and talking at the scene before he was transported. Authorities were reportedly examining his bullet-proof vest at the scene. LAPD cruisers were seen with bullet holes following the exchange of gunfire. The Jan. 6 rioter who was turfed from Spencer Pratt’s election night party was swarmed by a group of anti-ICE protesters outside the Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center on Saturday in a disturbing incident caught on video. Footage shows Jon Mellis, 39, known online as @PatriotWildMan , being repeatedly taunted as a “pedophile worshipper,” chased, and allegedly doused with gasoline by masked protesters as he attempted to escape the confrontation. He managed to outrun the pursuing mob, although he was allegedly struck several times in the head per the video. “Me and my friend went to the anti-ICE protest, we masked up, and we were, you know, lightly telling people that asked that we worked with the DNC,” Mellis claimed. “We were doing interviews, I got maybe two or three interviews in before [protesters] recognized me with my mask on, just because I have curly hair and I’m kind of viral, so they started yelling, ‘Proud Boy, Proud Boy,’ and and then everybody started coming toward me, immediately throwing things, attacking, pouring gas.” Cameraman Eoin Richard, who has covered protests in Washington, Chicago and Minneapolis, filmed the Saturday altercation in downtown LA. He claimed to the The Post those who attacked him were Antifa protesters. “We were there to film a protest being held for the one-year anniversary of the ICE raids,” Richard said. “I’ve been covering it for over a year now. … Jon was getting some interviews with protesters, very nonpartisan, just simple stuff like, ‘Hey, why are you on the ground?’ After about two interviews, we were swarmed. He was warmed.” The video captures the mob’s aggression, with masked individuals lunging at Mellis and Richard outside the ICE detention facility. “It happened so quickly,” Richard said, “but basically we wrapped up one interview, and then a woman with a bullhorn came and started shouting in [Mellis’s] face a bunch of different things, and probably five seconds after that, masked Antifa approached him, one with a chemical of some sort, trying to dump it on him. “He was doused and as he was trying to push the gallon of liquid away, a guy punches him in the face.” Richard recounts how when things turned violent they both ran for their lives, “literally as a mob of people sprinted behind,” trying to attack and beat them. “They were even trying to attack police,” Richard claimed. After the two men made it to safety away from the violent group, they made contact with LA police, who placed Mellis in handcuffs in the back of a police car and escorted him to his vehicle, although he says he was not placed under arrest. “He didn’t pat me down, he didn’t search me, and he said I wasn’t being detained,” Mellis recounted. “He saw what happened, so I wasn’t in any trouble at all. He simply drove to my car because we’re on the verge of a riot.” Following the incident, Richard claimed DHS was deployed to the protest, with ABC 7 reporting that some arrests were made. The Post reached out to the LAPD, who could not confirm if any arrests and detainments made during Saturday’s anti-ICE protests were in connection to Mellis’s dousing. Mellis pleaded guilty to assaulting an officer at the Capitol Building in the January 6, 2021 riot. He spent four years in federal prison before being pardoned by President Trump, and is now a full-time conservative influencer. He was removed by security at Spencer Pratt election-night event after turning up uninvited. “I love Spencer, totally supported him, but those security guys, that was assault. You have no right to touch somebody, push somebody, or move somebody when they’re on public property.
