A video posted on social media shows the 17-year-old jumping off the cliff, striking the edge of the cliff and then landing in the water. At least six people jumped in after him to help. San Diego lifeguards pulled the teenager out of the water and took him to a hospital at around 4:30 p.m. The extent of his injuries is unknown. Video appeared to show the teenager conscious, sitting on a cliff ledge surrounded by several people, before lifeguards arrived to help. "As a reminder, cliff jumping is not only extremely dangerous but also against the law in San Diego," said San Diego Fire-Rescue spokesperson Candace Hadley.

Teen Takeover chaos at Los Angeles trampoline park

Kids' trampoline park overrun by scientists and doctors

A man was asked to remove his American flag and Trump flag from his car

BREAKING: A man was asked to remove his American flag and Trump flag from his car at M Special Brewing Company in California because it’s “political.” They even called the sheriff who threatened to cite him How is the American flag political?!

From Instagram famous to living on the streets of San Bernardino, California.

Life can be brutal

Los Angeles Democrats paid $100 million to a private company owned by a Chinese billionaire for a homeless hotel

Democrats also agreed to pay for ALL rooms regardless if anyone was housed The deal was so shady the Chinese billionaire fled to China when the FBI started investigating him You’re not going to believe this, this Chinese billionaire who go this insane very obviously money laundering deal WAS A DEMOCRAT DONOR “The city agreed to pay the owner, a company called Shenzhen New World, $154 a night for every room in the building, meals included. Officers were called to the 1200 block of East Palm Canyon Drive around 3:41 p.m. that day after someone reported a man waving a knife and acting erratically toward employees at an area motel. Police identified the man as Gilberto Flores of Desert Hot Springs, though his age wasn't released. The newly released video shows Flores on the second story of the building with the knife, along with audio from the initial 911 call. The Palm Springs Police Department then showed footage of officers trying to talk Flores down and using less-lethal options, including help from the department's Community Behavioral Assessment Team, a unit meant to handle mental health crises. Flores is eventually seen on body cam and drone footage approaching officers with the knife, and at one point entering a police vehicle. The video then shows police used tasers and sponge rounds on the suspect, but eventually three officers open fire. According to the initial report from police, first responders tried to save Flores at the scene, but he died from his injuries at an area hospital. No officers were hurt. According to Captain Gustavo M. Araiza of the Palm Springs Police Department, the case now moves through three separate reviews. The Riverside County Sheriff's Force Investigation Division is investigating the shooting itself, and that investigation will then go to the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. Palm Springs police will also run their own internal administrative review. The department said all legally required documents on the shooting will be posted to its transparency page as the reviews move forward.

Man Who Stabbed His Little Son To Death Fatally Shot By San Jose Officers

The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office has determined that two San Jose police officers lawfully shot and killed a man in a park who was charging at them with a knife. Mateusz Dzierbun, 48, of Fremont, had just stabbed his 9-year-old son to death last summer when he attacked the responding officers. Just before he raised his knife and ran at the officers, Dzierbun told them: “Whoever killed someone before needs to be here,” and, “If you get the stun bag, I’m going to get up and charge this guy.” The officers – who had warned him numerous times to drop the knife so they could attend to his clearly badly injured child – shot Dzierbun 14 times. The report says: “The officers were confronted with an extraordinarily dangerous and rapidly evolving situation. The evidence before them indicated only two possibilities: either Dzierbun had already murdered his son, demonstrating his homicidal intent, or the child had been stabbed by Dzierbun and required immediate lifesaving aid.” The District Attorney’s Office investigates all fatal law enforcement encounters to determine if the lethal force was legal. By law, officers can use deadly force when they or others face imminent danger. The fatal stabbing and subsequent police shooting happened in sunny Cataldi Park, near where a group of people were taking pickleball lessons. On July 13, 2025, at approximately 3:23 p.m., Dzierbun called 911 to report that his son had been stabbed and “is dead.” At first, he said another man had killed him, and later admitted that he had killed his child, telling dispatch that, “They were going to torture him… I had to do it.” Officers Eduardo Eyer and Kevin McAlindon were the first officers to arrive at the park, at approximately 3:31 p.m. Dzierbun was approximately 50 feet away, seated on the grass near the body of his child. An officer said, “Sir, will you please drop the knife?” Dzierbun responded, “Listen to me very carefully. I am armed, and one of you guys is going to kill me today. I don’t want to traumatize you.” The officer repeated for a third time, “Sir, I need you to drop the knife,” to which Dzierbun responded, “I don’t want to traumatize anyone here…so listen to me carefully. Whoever killed someone before needs to be here.” Eventually, Officer McAlindon went to get a stun gun. Approximately two minutes after the officers arrived on scene, joined shortly after by Sergeant Joel Casey, Dzierbun stood up, brandished the knife by raising it above his head, and charged at them, body worn camera footage shows. Sgt. Casey and Officer Eyer fired. Officer Eyer later told investigators, “I need to save myself and my partners here… I wanted to save that kid.” When officers managed to get to the child, they quickly realized he was deceased.

United Airlines employee threatens to call ICE on customer

A United Airlines employee appears to have been caught on video threatening to call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on a customer during a ticketing dispute last week at San Francisco International Airport. East Bay resident Julio Varela, who was traveling with his family, told CBS News Bay Area that the incident began when an employee, who has not been identified, was rude and dismissive to him at the ticket counter. When the 54-year-old Varela asked for her name to report her, he said she refused, so he pulled out his phone to record her and the employee later did the same. The video of the interaction caught on Varela's phone, which has gone viral since being uploaded to Reddit and other social media platforms, shows the employee holding up her phone in front of her face as Varela tries to get her name. "Maybe we should call ICE on you," the employee is heard saying. From behind the camera, Varela says, "You're going to call ICE on me?" As he tells the employee to repeat herself, she can be heard adding, "Maybe you need to be, because you don't act like a citizen. Get away." "I was so shocked, I was angry," Varela said. "It's intimidating, because my kids didn't know, you know, if when we get back, are we, am I going to be arrested? Is ICE going to be there?" he added. Varela, his wife and three daughters are all U.S. citizens. They had been at the airport for hours trying to fix a problem with one of his daughter's tickets, which had been mistakenly issued with her middle name as her last name. But the ticket agent told them there was nothing she could do and that the family would miss their flight, he said. "I say, well, my wife made the mistake, but we've been trying to correct it," Varela told CBS News. "So that's what we're here for, so you can help us. She says, well, I don't care if you fly or not. So that's what got me upset. And that's, I said, what's your name? She said, I'm not going to give you my name." After the employee threatened to call ICE, Varela said he was not going to back down. "She assumed that I was just gonna be some idiot that was gonna, you know, just be quiet and shut up," Varela said. "So I said, 'No, call ICE.'" Varela added, "My 14-year-old daughter is crying on the side, and she's screaming. My daughter's, like, 'Why would you say you were going to call ICE?' That's so rude and disrespectful, you know?" Varela said the issue was eventually fixed minutes after the incident, and the family was able to board their flight. United Airlines said Monday in an email to CBS News Bay Area that it was looking into the interaction, but had no other comment.

Arrest her for refusing to sign !

Expired registration and DL suspended.

A family attacked by anti-ICE protesters in downtown Los Angeles

Officers shoot, kill San Leandro man in distress after he points weapon

San Leandro, California — On May 7, 2026, just after 8 p.m., San Leandro Police dispatch received a call on a non-emergency line from an out-of-state caller. The caller identified his friend as 39-year-old David McAlpin and said his attempts to call him back went straight to voicemail. San Leandro Police officers responded to McAlpin's Santiago Road residence to conduct a welfare check and made contact with his family. His family was unaware of the concerns relayed to dispatch by his friend in Texas and did not know McAlpin's whereabouts. McAlpin's family made contact with him but were unsuccessful in convincing him to return home. Ultimately, officer Qiu was able to speak with McAlpin by phone. During a lengthy conversation, officer Qiu was able to convince McAlpin to share his location so officers could meet with him in person. Officer Qiu informed McAlpin that he and additional officers would respond to his location at the San Leandro Marina. Officers had received information that McAlpin owned a firearm, but he denied being armed. Officer Qiu spoke with McAlpin for approximately ten minutes. As officer Qiu began to open the driver's door, McAlpin reached for an object. Officer Caleb Schwitters, who was positioned near the windshield, ordered McAlpin to stop reaching. McAlpin then produced a firearm, and officers Schwitters, Navarro, and Martinez discharged their service weapons. All three officers who discharged their service weapons were recording with their body-worn cameras. None of the officers' cameras clearly captured McAlpin as he produced the firearm. Approximately 50 seconds after officers discharged their service weapons, another gunshot is heard. Investigators later determined the shot was fired by McAlpin. Following the officer-involved shooting, McAlpin remained armed and unresponsive to commands. Officers were unable to safely approach him until additional resources arrived. Emergency medical personnel treated McAlpin at the scene, but he was pronounced dead. Investigators recovered a firearm from the vehicle.
