EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A confrontation between customers and staff at Carolina Lowcountry Kitchen in East Grand Rapids has sparked debate after a video of the incident was viewed more than a million times on TikTok. The video was posted by Jessica Peña and Ariana Dunavan, both 22 years old, who say they were asked to leave the restaurant more than a week ago after an issue involving alcohol service. According to the women, Jessica ordered an alcoholic drink and Ariana took a sip from it. They say the restaurant owner told them that wasn't allowed and Jessica was accused of using a fake ID. "We weren't in this restaurant for probably more than 15 minutes before we were kicked out, so we were confused about what we did," the women said. The pair say they apologized but were later asked to leave before receiving their food. A teen had to be rescued Sunday by lifeguards at Sunset Cliffs after being injured while jumping from a cliff ledge. A video posted on social media shows the 17-year-old jumping off the cliff, striking the edge of the cliff and then landing in the water. At least six people jumped in after him to help. San Diego lifeguards pulled the teenager out of the water and took him to a hospital at around 4:30 p.m. The extent of his injuries is unknown. Video appeared to show the teenager conscious, sitting on a cliff ledge surrounded by several people, before lifeguards arrived to help. FORT MOHAVE, Ariz. - A shocking encounter was caught on camera on July 16 when a Mohave Valley man was stunned with a Taser by an officer with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The incident ignited a fire right by the gas pump at Thalypo Convenience & Fireworks on the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation. Cell phone video from Clarence Coyl’s point of view captures the tense standoff between him and an officer with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Coyl says he and his friend drove through an open gate approaching Catfish Paradise at the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge. That’s when he noticed the officer. "He goes, ‘You guys came through the gate, didn’t you? Leave now. Get out of here.’ I’m like, ‘OK’ and he got really snotty, and he says, ‘Well, I’ll give you a ticket,’ and I say, ‘Give me a ticket, you gotta trespass me first,’" Coyl said. Coyl turned around and drove to the Thalypo gas station, which is located on Fort Mojave Indian Reservation land 20 minutes away. The officer also arrived there and confronted Coyl for his ID. When asked what was going through his mind when the flames burst, Coyl said, "I thought I was gonna die. Believe it or not, I went into instinct to stop, drop and roll." Coyl waited for paramedics and was later treated at the hospital. He says he was never arrested. "And I spend five and a half hours there, not a single officer or anything followed up to write a report, question me or nothing … nobody showed up at the hospital at all for any of this," Coyl said. Coyl says he has first and second-degree burns on his hands and severe nerve damage. But mentally, he feels that going to get gas is a traumatic experience. A family trip to a Morgan Wallen concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore took a disturbing turn Saturday after a man allegedly urinated on a concertgoer and his family, an incident that has since gone viral on social media. Troy Grevelding, who said he was visiting from upstate New York with his family, recorded the moments he reported the incident to authorities on cell phone video. Grevelding said the confrontation began after he and his family got to their seats and a man behind them became disruptive. Grevelding said the man was on FaceTime, “being very loud,” and bumped into him several times. “So, after he bumped into me a couple more times, I turned around, I said, 'hey bud,' I said, 'these aren't your seats,' I said 'put your phone down, enjoy the show. You want to be on your phone, go to your seats...we're here to enjoy the show,'" Grevelding said. Grevelding said that moments later, he and his wife felt something on their legs. “I literally feel something on my leg. My wife feels something on her leg. My niece is standing on the seats, sitting on them. And my wife says, 'whatever that gentleman is doing, it's all over my leg.' At that point, I kinda see him like bent over out of the corner of my eye. So, I turned to look,” Grevelding said. Grevelding said he then saw the man urinating. “He has his genitalia hanging completely out and he's urinating all over the back of my seat, my wife's leg, my leg, my niece,” Grevelding said. He said the man looked at him and said, “it's good bro, it's good." Grevelding said he confronted the man. “At that point, I grab him, pushed him back and said, 'what the "f" are you doing? You're pissing all over me,'" he said. Grevelding said he looked for police and that officers from the Maryland Transportation Authority Police responded. In the cell phone video, an officer is heard telling him, “I just explained to you, we cannot take him into custody.” The officer also said, “We're going to give you his information. You can be referred to a commissioner (to file charges yourself)." Grevelding said officers told him they could not arrest the man because they did not witness what happened. Stadium officials referred our questions to MDTA Police, which is investigating. MDTA Police said in a statement, “The MDTA Police is aware of this incident and the video that is on social media. There is an active and open criminal investigation into this matter.” Grevelding said he wants accountability. “There is no accountability,” he said. “I want justice for my eight-year-old niece.
