TOLEDO, Ohio — A fight over seating at a kindergarten graduation ceremony at an Ohio Catholic school left one person hospitalized on Thursday morning. Authorities said they were called to Queen Apostles School in Toledo, Ohio, at 8:45 a.m. local time after several people were involved in a dispute. The fight left a 26-year-old hospitalized with a head injury, according to the report. No students were harmed in the incident, the school said. Police said a 28-year-old woman, identified as Jessica Anderson, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Lucas County Jail, where she faces a felonious assault charge. We appreciate your rapid response to the situation that some people brought to our school," the school said in a statement on Facebook. MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Five people were charged, and nine are wanted after a fight broke out during Ripley High School’s graduation on Thursday, according to the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office. Za’Darius Smith, Jordan Bonds, and Devontae Robertson were charged with inciting a riot and disorderly conduct. Stephanie Scott was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and a minor was charged with inciting a riot, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass. “To those who believe you have escaped detection, understand this: you are only delaying the inevitable. I have the rest of my career to locate every single person responsible, and I assure you that we will not stop until each of you is held fully accountable for your actions,” said Sheriff Brian Kelley. On May 15, deputies said a group of people chose to engage in multiple fights during the ceremony. Authorities have not released information on what started the fights. LCSO said they are actively reviewing video footage and working to identify every person involved in this incident.
