A teenage boy was stabbed on Brighton seafront next to a crowded beach on bank holiday Monday, police have said. Sussex Police said it received reports of a large group of people fighting in the area of Shelter Hall food court, on Kings Road Arches, at about 21:30 BST. The victim, a boy from Surrey, was taken to hospital for treatment, where his injuries were confirmed to be superficial. Det Insp Jen Pietersen, of Brighton CID, said: "We know the beach was extremely crowded at the time of this incident and we're urging anyone who can assist in our inquiries to please come forward."
